Welcome to the SOS-Nanaimo mailing List. This list serves people who object to Calgary developers ignoring our local Growth Strategy by pushing an inappropriate development for lands around the Cable Bay trail and Dodd Narrows in Cedar. Our Growth Strategy is meant to confine urban sprawl and protect rural lands and lifestyles. The Calgary developers who own the lands around Cable Bay are advertising it as an investment opportunity and they plan to build hotels, high-rises, time shares, and a "semi-public" golf course on land zone rural resource & 5 acre minimum. Using Concerned-Citizens
To post a message to all the list members, send email to admin@sos-nanaimo.org. Please note: We have set this list up as "announce-only" to avoid SPAM and gobs of e-mails plugging your mailbox. That means the list administrator is the only one who can post to the list. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Concerned-Citizens
Subscribe to Concerned-Citizens by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
